Battery-Powered Ride-On Steam Train
Description
I’ve got this ride-on steam train that my daughter used to love — it’s been in the family for years and still runs great. It’s battery-powered and looks like a wild west-style train, with a real steam effect that actually comes out of the funnel when you move it around. The track is 7.3m oval and includes 12 curved and 10 straight pieces — not as many as the full set, but it’s still plenty for little hands. The train has a working headlight, a forward and reverse switch on the grab handle, and you can press buttons to make it make train noises — kind of brings the whole experience to life. It also has a big carriage that attaches to the back, so you can pretend it’s a journey with a passenger.
The box is a bit worn, especially around the edges, but it still holds everything neatly. The train itself is in great shape, just a bit dusty from years of use. It’s perfect for kids from 10 months up to 4 years, and the max weight is 20kg.
I bought it when it was new for £149.99, and it’s been a staple in our playroom. I’m selling it now because I’ve moved to Buntingford, East Hertfordshire, and don’t have room for it anymore. It’s still in good working order and my little one would have had hours of fun with it.
It’s £54, so if you’re a parent looking for something that brings back the joy of playtime, this might be the one.
