Description

I’ve had this LEGO Icons set for a while now – the one with Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings. It’s the 10316 version, and it’s in a brand new sealed box, so it’s like it’s never been opened.

It’s a big one – 6,167 pieces – and it really captures that magical feel of Rivendell. The house is detailed with autumn leaves and all that forest vibe, and you can actually see the interior spaces, like Frodo’s room and Elrond’s messy study.

There are 15 minifigures included: Gandalf, Legolas, Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, Bilbo, Boromir, Gimli, and a few others. I’ve actually used it a few times to recreate scenes from the movies – like the Council of Elrond, with the One Ring on the stone, or the moment the Fellowship crosses the bridge over the river.

I’ve got the elven forge, the Shards of Narsil, and even some paintings and statues that feel like they’re straight out of the films. It’s not just a building – it’s a full scene from the story.

I picked it up a few years ago when I was into the movies and building sets, and it’s still one of my favourite things to pull out. It’s in great shape, and I’m just passing it on now – it’s not something I use every day, but I’ve kept it in a spot where it’s safe and dust-free.

It’s sitting in my garage at ammanford, Station Road – I’ve been meaning to get it out of there for a while. It’s worth £355.50, but I’m not saying that out loud, just figured I’d share it with someone who’d actually enjoy it.

If you’re a fan of The Lord of the Rings or just like detailed builds, this might be something you’d really appreciate.
