I’ve had this chair for years — it’s one of those pieces that just feels like it belongs in a real, lived-in home. Made from elm and beech, it’s a solid, honest piece with that classic Windsor shape. The seat has a natural grain and a little split in the wood that actually adds to the charm — not something you’d find in a new chair. The spindles are nicely turned, and the green paint underneath is still there, faded but visible, which tells a story. It’s not perfect — there’s wear, some scuff marks, and the wood’s patina is real and shows age. I picked it up when I was renovating my kitchen in London-Colney, St Albans, and it just fit right in. It’s not flashy, but it’s warm, sturdy, and gives off that old-school country vibe. Would make a great addition to a kitchen or dining room — or just sit by the window as a quiet, grounded piece. I’m not selling it for a lot, just passing it on because it’s been a part of my home for so long.
