2021 Cupra Formentor 1.5 TSI 150 V2 5-door Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve had this Cupra Formentor for about a year now — it’s a 2021 V2 model, 1.5-litre petrol, manual — and honestly, it’s been a real joy to drive. Only ever had one owner, so it’s been kept pretty well, and I’ve had it serviced regularly. The inside is a bit sporty — leather steering wheel, gloss black roof rails, and that cool matte black and silver alloy wheel trim. The seats are 60-40 with a central armrest, and I’ve found it’s great for family trips or just long drives with the kids. The three-zone climate control is a nice touch, especially when one of us is in the back and the others are in the front — you can set it to match.
I love the heated steering wheel, especially on chilly mornings. The LED lights, automatic headlight control, and those little coming/leaving home lights help make it safer and more practical, especially when driving around at dusk or dawn.
It’s got a decent power delivery — 0-62 in 8.9 seconds — not the fastest car, but it’s quick enough for everyday use. The parking sensors are a real help, and I’ve never had trouble parking it in tight spaces. The front and rear airbags, side curtain airbags, and seat belt reminders give it a solid safety profile.
The cupra connect system means you can do remote checks, and it’s got Apple CarPlay and wireless phone charging — no cables, just plug and go. I’ve also got a DAB radio, USB ports (four in total), and a navigation system that’s been very reliable.
It’s had a full AA inspection, which is a big deal for me — I don’t want to end up with a car that has hidden issues. The service history is there, and the mechanic report is solid.
I’m based in Newcastleton, Scottish Borders, and I’m happy to chat or take you out for a test drive if you’d like. I’ve got a few other cars in stock too — if you’re looking for something with a bit of personality and good value, this one might be just what you’re after.
Price is £17,365.50 — it’s a fair bit, but I’ve kept it well and it’s been maintained properly. If you’re thinking about it, I’d be happy to talk through the details.
