Description

So, I’m moving to Rochdale and need to part with Ruby – my 2021 Eriba Touring Troll 542 ‘60’ Edition. She was brand new when I got her in March 2021 from Adventure Leisure, and honestly, I’ve treated her like a proper piece of kit. Every year she’s had a full service, no damp, always covered when not in use – just like I’ve always done.

It’s white over silver, three berths – sleeps three comfortably. The main bed’s a v-formation, super easy to get in and out of without knocking over the person on the other side. The mattress is solid with inner springs and soft cushions – feels like a real bed. There’s a single bed too, just in case. Under the main bed is a massive storage space, and there’s loads of other storage around – shelves, drawers, under-seat stuff. The caravan’s plated at 1400kg, so about 500kg of storage space is available.

Bathroom has toilet, hot water, shower, and a curtain. Alloy wheels, spare wheel tucked under the chassis with a lock. Fridge is a 3-burner cooker with electric ignition and flame guard, sink cover with chopping board, door fly screen, LED lights, and a TV antenna and bracket. There’s front storage for two 6/7kg gas bottles, a stone deflector, and the carpets and cushions are all unused.

There’s an external locker to access under-bed storage, a fold-out entrance step, all windows have blackout blinds and fly screens, and a waste bin built into the entrance.

Upgrades I’ve added over the years: 1400kg towing capacity, a mains electric pack, 10-litre Truma Ultrastore gas/electric water heater, Truma Ultraheat space heater, Thule Omnistore roll-out awning with dimmable LED lights, a Thule bike carrier for two bikes, Powrtouch Auto Motor Mover, extra USB and mains power points, external gas socket.

Inside: AGM 95Ah leisure battery, Cris registered and Vin chip, internal cupboard door stays, electric hook-up lead. Water system includes a 40-litre Aquaroll with mains adapter, ball valve, two pumps, and insulated storage. Wastemaster 40-litre with storage bag. Front and towing covers, Milenco wheel locks, custom fitted sheets for the main bed, smoke and CO detectors, nose weight scale, an aluminium portable table for outside, and two wheel ramps to help with levelling.

I’ve lived in her for years – she’s been a real comfort, especially on long drives. I’ve only used her for weekends and short trips, so she’s in great shape. Honestly, I’m not selling her because I don’t want to keep her, but because I’m moving and it just doesn’t make sense to keep her on the road with me anymore.

If you’ve ever used a caravan and liked the idea of a solid, well-maintained one, this might be something you’d actually enjoy. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid, practical, and really lived-in – just like I’ve always wanted.

Price is £21,600 – I’m not looking to haggle, just putting her out there for what it is. If you’re interested, I’m happy to show it around or answer any questions.
