Hey, just letting you know I’ve got my wife’s old Golf sitting in holywell-green, Calderdale. We’ve had it for just over two years and it’s been a real joy to drive — steady, reliable, and never really broke down. With nearly 137k miles on it, I know it’s not a young car, but it’s been properly looked after — full service history, all on time. Had the cambelt and water pump done last month, both done properly.It’s a manual, so it’s not fancy, but it’s got that MK8 alloy wheel upgrade — I spent about £1200 on those, and they really give it a nice look. ULEZ free, so no issues there. MOT expires next year, so it’s good to go.
We’re moving to a bigger family SUV now, so it’s time to let it go. Price is £4,590 — fair, not flashy, just what it is. No silly offers, please — if you’re interested, just give me a call. Might consider PX if you’re serious.
Honestly, it’s a solid car, just not what I’d go for on the road anymore. But it’s been a great companion through the years.
