Vintage Royal Canvas Tent "Royal" – used a handful of times
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this tent for years — it’s a vintage Royal 6-person canvas tent, and I’ve only set it up a few times. Honestly, it’s not super fancy, but it’s solid. The reason the canvas isn’t stretched out in the photos? It was raining, and I didn’t want to risk it getting wet, so I just left it as-is.It’s a multi-room setup — you can put the single and/or double pods up, and that leaves about half the space for a kitchen or living area. There’s a canopy, and the canvas is actually pretty tough — waterproof and UV resistant, so it holds up well. Two doors (the back one opens up almost the whole side) and two windows mean it’s got decent airflow and space.
I’ve tested it out, and unless you’re really tall, you can stand up inside — no issue. It’s about 4m wide by 3m deep, and the canopy adds another 1.4m in depth and is roughly 2.2m wide.
I’m moving to Haverhill, West Suffolk, so I’m just passing it on. It’s not brand new, but it’s been used only a few times and the fabric’s in great shape. Price is £247.50 — if you’re interested, I can chat about it. Just saying, it’s a real piece of kit that’s been around for ages, and I’m happy to share it.
