Sony BD-P185 blue ray player with HDMI, USB, and remote

So, I’ve got this old Sony Blu-ray player — the BDP-S185 — and I’m letting it go. It’s not fancy, but it actually works pretty well. I’ve used it for years, mostly for movies and some music files, and it’s been reliable.

It has HDMI, USB, and Ethernet connections — so you can play MP3s, Blu-ray discs, and even stream stuff to your TV. The picture quality is solid, especially for older content, and it upscales things to 1920x1080, which helps a lot when playing DVDs or older files.

It’s black, about 18.8 x 29 x 4.2 cm, weighs 1.1kg, and comes with the original remote and HDMI cable — everything’s in working order. I’ve kept it clean and stored it well, so it’s not dusty or damaged.

I bought it years ago when Blu-ray was all the rage, and I’ve used it for everything from family movies to music nights. It’s not the latest model, but it still does the job.

It’s in criccieth, Gwynedd, and I’m just passing it on because I’ve moved on to something else. I’m not giving it a warranty — it’s used — but it runs fine.
