SCALE MODEL BUS 1932 OPEN-STAIRCASE LONDON GENERAL AEC

Got this little die-cast bus from a long-gone brand called Lledo — yeah, the name’s a bit of a play on my dad’s name, O’Dell, spelled backwards. They were a bit of a niche player back in the day, mostly known for their Days Gone range with classic British vehicles. This one’s a 1932 London General double decker with an open staircase, which was actually a common design for the time. I found it in a promotional box from E & M, and it’s been well preserved — even has the original photo of the building it was photographed against, which helps with authenticity. The box is intact and it’s been cleaned up a bit, but still looks like it’s ready to display.
