Mazda MX5 Mk3 Hard Top Convertible
Description
So, I’m selling my 2008 Mazda MX5 Mk3 (the NC model) — it’s been a solid little car for me over the years. I bought it back in 2020 as a temporary fix while I was working on my classic car, and now that it’s finally done, I don’t need two convertibles anymore. I’m going to be buying a 4x4 soon, so it’s time to part with this one. It’s in great shape, low mileage, full service history, and I’ve kept it well maintained. The hard top is a real upgrade — quieter on the motorway, doesn’t leak, no algae stains, and it’s a bit more secure than the soft top. When the roof’s up, there’s actually a bit more storage space in the roof panel, which I’ve found useful.
Heated leather seats are a must for winter driving — I’ve used them a lot when it’s cold. The paint is a deep blue with a flake effect, which I love. It’s got a proper radio and aerial, and I can plug in my phone via iPhone or aux to play music — nothing fancy, just works well.
It’s a 1.8L petrol engine with a 5-speed manual — no automatic, which is fine by me. Extras include electric mirrors, air conditioning, and a leather steering wheel.
I’ve had it in Turriff, Aberdeenshire for a while now — just a quick note, it’s not in Hitchin anymore. I’m happy to show it around if you’re interested. I’ve also listed it elsewhere, so I’ll take it down once someone makes an offer.
Price is £4,500 — not too bad for what it is, honestly.
