I’m letting out a double room in a quiet, well-kept house in Umberleigh, North Devon. It’s a tidy, bright space with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a desk with chair – everything you’d need for a quiet, comfortable stay.

The bathroom is shared with just one other person and we keep it clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped – oven, hob, microwave, and washing machine – and is shared with three other rooms, so it’s always in use but never messy.

All bills – water, electricity, gas, and council tax – are covered, so no surprise costs. The place is clean, quiet, and runs smoothly with regular housemates.

It’s close to shops, supermarkets, and good transport links – easy access to buses and the main station.
