Comfort Bike Saddle and Alloy Seat Post
Description
Got this saddle and seat post lying around after switching to a different bike, so figured I’d part with it. It’s a solid comfort saddle — works for men, women, kids, and all kinds of bikes, whether it’s a trail rig, city commuter, or a hybrid. The padding’s a mix of memory foam and high-density EVA, which feels really good on long rides. There’s a dual spring underneath that takes a lot of the impact, so it’s not just about padding — it actually helps with comfort on bumpy roads. The seat surface is PU leather, which breathes well and doesn’t get sticky. I’ve used it quite a bit over the years and it’s held up well. Just one small spot where the stitching split — it’s a tiny hole, and it hasn’t gotten worse with use. No major wear, just a little bit of age.
Also included is a 27.2mm aluminium alloy seat post — that’s the standard size in the UK, so it’ll fit most bikes. It’s 350mm long and made from 3mm thick alloy, so it’s sturdy and light. It’s been in my shed for a while now, not been used much, but still in great shape.
If you’re looking for a decent, no-fuss saddle that doesn’t cost a fortune, this might be worth a look. I’ve got it sitting at Goldrings Road, Oxshott — just popped it in the back of my garage, so easy to pick up. Price is £13.50 if you’re interested, but I’m not pushing it — just thought I’d share it.
