I’ve had this Citroen C4 for nearly two decades – it’s been my daily driver for most of that time and I’ve always treated it well. I’ve had it through a few major bits and pieces: new timing belt, water pump, coil pack, battery, remote key, screen, and plugs. It runs smoothly, no warning lights, and feels solid.

I’ve also done the clutch, pressure plate, thrust bearing, rear springs, shocks, and new rear brake pads – all of which helped keep it running safely. It’s just about time for a new MOT, which I’ll sort as soon as I get a chance.

The only small things: a bit of a hiss on the exhaust, and the wiper blades need replacing. Nothing major, just a few little things I’ll fix before I pass it on.

It’s been parked in Merthyr-tydfil, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough for the last few years and I’m not planning to move much – so it’s a good fit for someone looking for a reliable, low-maintenance car. It’s not flashy, but it’s been dependable through thick and thin.

Price is £675 – I’ll be honest, it’s not the most modern car, but it’s been a solid partner through the years. If you’re looking for something that just works, this one’s been through its fair share of miles and still holds up.
