Yale Small Digital Safe
Description
I’ve had this Yale small digital safe for a few years now and it’s been super handy for keeping a few personal items secure at home. It’s not flashy, but it does the job well — solid steel body, digital keypad with a little LCD screen, and those soft interior lining bits mean your stuff doesn’t get scratched or damaged. It’s got a nice simple setup — you can set a PIN for guests too, so if someone’s staying over, they can lock their own things without needing me to be around. I’ve used it a few times with friends and family, and it’s been pretty reliable.
If I’m locked out, there are two manual keys included — easy to find and use in a pinch. The thing just screws into the wall or floor with pre-drilled holes, so it’s not too fiddly to install.
It’s a bit heavy at 7kg, but that’s fine — it’s not meant to be a vault, just a secure spot for keys, a phone, or a few spare things.
I’ve been keeping it in my hallway at home in Hawarden, Flintshire, and it’s been a quiet, solid part of the setup. I’m selling it for £40.50 — not much, but it’s been a real life-saver over the years.
If you’re looking for something reliable and not too complicated, this one’s been a good fit for me.
