Got this old VW T5 camper for a few years now and honestly, it’s been a real joy. It’s one of those unusual colours that stands out on the road, and it’s got that classic van charm without being flashy. The engine’s a 1.9 PD with a 5-speed manual — solid, reliable, and I’ve kept it well maintained.

It’s fully soundproofed, insulated, and carpeted inside, so it’s quiet and comfortable. The head panel’s been completely skimmed, all belts replaced, and it’s been serviced regularly — new alternator, starter, glow plugs, and valves. I’ve got the receipts if you want to check them.

I’ve upgraded the stereo to an Apple Play unit with a sub and amp — it’s got a proper rock n roll bed, six belted seats, and a pop-top that lets you sleep for four. There’s a night heater and a leisure battery that powers some USB lights inside.

It comes with a C-channel awning rail — we’ve been using a low air awning, which I can include if you’re interested. The van’s been used about 20,111 miles, and it’ll keep going up as it’s still in great condition.
