Chausson Welcome 640 4 Berth End Washroom Motorhome 2018
Description
So, I’ve been living in this Chausson Welcome 640 for the past few years — it’s been a real comfort in the countryside, especially when we’ve been out on long drives or just chilling at a campsite. It’s a 2018 model, so not old, and it’s been treated with care — only 19,600 miles on it, which is pretty low for something this size. The back end has a big garage with a 3-door external entry — perfect for storing bikes, kids’ toys, or just anything we need to load in when we’re on the move. From there, you walk into a full-width en-suite washroom with a separate shower and toilet, plus a big cupboard over the garage — useful if you’re doing a bit of DIY or just want to keep things tidy.
Moving forward, the kitchen is solid — gas hob, electric plate and oven, sink, and a big fridge/freezer. The lounge area has two bench seats facing each other, an electric height-adjustable dining table, and two cab seats that can swivel. There’s also an XXL drop-down double bed — it’s a bit of a luxury, but it’s actually quite comfy, and I’ve used it for sleeping overnight or just turning it into a second bed when needed.
Some of the extras I’ve kept: Apple CarPlay in the cab, reversing camera, bike rack, towbar, solar panel, Visionplus TV aerial, and a fixed wind-out awning. The heating is diesel-powered, via a WEBASTO system — super easy to use and keeps things warm even on chilly days.
It’s based on a Fiat Ducato with a 2.3-litre engine and 150bhp — solid, reliable, and easy to drive. I’ve had it serviced regularly, and the mechanical history is clean. It’s 6.99 metres long and 2.35 metres wide, with a MAM of 3500kg — so anyone with a standard UK driving licence can drive it without any issues.
I’m based in Newhall, South Derbyshire, so if you’re local or coming from nearby areas, I can definitely arrange a view — just give me a shout. I’ve got over 130 photos, plus videos of both inside and outside — so you can get a real feel for it.
I’m happy to help with delivery if you’re not in the area — I’ve got a low-cost option for that, and I’ll even help with pick-up and return from local airports, train stations, or bus stops.
I’m also open to trade-ins and have a bit of flexibility on the deal. If you’re thinking about buying, I can help you get a free 31-day drive-away insurance — just need to get in touch with Caravan Guard to activate it.
All money goes through HSBC for security — I don’t want anyone getting scammed, so it’s just a simple, safe process.
Things I’ve got on board: grill, central heating, full service history, solar system, oven, air conditioning, back seat safety belts, AM/FM stereo, and the V5 document is in order.
I’ve used this thing for everything — from weekend trips to long-term camping — and it’s been reliable, comfortable, and has actually made travel feel a lot less stressful. If you’re looking for something solid, well-maintained, and actually useful — this one’s been a good fit for me.
Let me know if you’d like to chat — I’m happy to go through it properly.
