I’ve had this 2023 Yaris Cross for a couple of years now and it’s been a solid daily driver. Only one previous owner, just under 12,000 miles — not much wear at all for its age. It’s a manufacturer-approved car, so I know it’s been properly maintained.

The interior’s nice — heated front seats with power lumbar on the driver’s side, which is a real plus when it’s cold. Heated steering wheel too, so you don’t have to fight the chill. Bluetooth keeps me connected, and the LED projector headlights help when it’s dark or foggy.

Safety-wise, it’s got blind spot assist, front and rear parking sensors, and pretensioners in the seats — which I’ve actually used a few times when parking in tight spaces. The hybrid engine runs smoothly, and I’ve noticed it gets around 57 mpg — means I’m not going to the petrol station as often.

It’s Euro 6 compliant, low CO2, so road tax is minimal and insurance is in the lower group. I’ve only driven it in Watlington, South Oxfordshire, and it’s been reliable and easy to maintain.

It’s not flashy, but it’s practical, safe, and runs well — just what I needed for city and country drives. If you’re looking for a low-mileage, well-maintained hybrid SUV with good tech and safety, this one’s been a solid fit for me.
