So, I’ve got this 2005 Mercedes Vito W639 – extra long wheelbase, silver, and it’s been properly looked after. Came in handy for a few years when I was doing a bit of commercial work, and I actually thought about converting it into a camper van, but the budget didn’t work out. Ended up keeping it as a workhorse and it’s still running great.

It’s got a solid diesel engine, plenty of range, and handles both city driving and long hauls without any issues. The interior’s spacious – plenty of room for cargo or passengers, and the dual sliding rear doors mean you can get in from either side, which is a real plus when you’re not in a rush.

The sat nav’s built in, Bluetooth for hands-free calls, and you can plug in your phone via aux, USB, or iPod – so music is always on board. Original Mercedes seat covers, alloy wheels, and those embossed metal step liners are still there too.

MOT runs till June 2026, 198k miles, and it’s been well-maintained. I’ve had it serviced regularly and it’s been kept in good shape. The paint’s clean, no major dents, and it’s just about ready to go.
