So, I’ve been living in Whitehaven, Cumberland for a few years now, and I’ve actually been using this caravan pretty much every weekend for the last two years. It’s a 2014 Carnaby Cascade — two bedrooms, double glazing, gas central heating — so it’s not just a holiday thing, it’s a real family retreat.

The lounge has this super comfy seating that folds into a double pull-out bed, which is perfect when you’ve got kids or just want a bit of extra space. The kitchen is open-plan, well stocked with cupboards and worktops, and I’ve actually used it daily — it’s fully equipped and never feels cramped.

There’s a family shower room and a separate toilet, which is handy for guests or when you're just trying to keep things tidy. The master bedroom has loads of wardrobe space and a dressing table — I’ve actually used that for getting ready for school runs or weekend trips.

The caravan’s right on the beach, so you can just walk down and grab a spot — it’s dog-friendly too, which is a big plus for my two dogs. The park has a pool, kids’ clubs, live cabaret, a chippy, burger place, and even owners’ parties — there’s always something going on.

I’ve been thinking about selling it now because I’m moving into a house and it’s just easier to keep things simple.
