2013 Mazda CX-5 Estate 2.2 Diesel Manual
Description
So, I’m selling my 2013 Mazda CX-5 estate – the one I’ve had since new, still in daily use and fully serviced. It’s got that 2.2 Skyactiv-D engine, manual gearbox, and runs on ULEZ compliant diesel. I’ve kept it well looked after, so the service book is still in the glove box – all the oil changes, filters, tyres, thermostat, tracking, you name it.It’s 167k miles now, but still drives smooth as silk. The 6-speed manual? Solid. I get around mid-60mpg thanks to the Skyactiv tech – 48-litre tank means I can hit 460–520 miles on a fill, which is handy.
The only quirks: a bit of knocking on the front driver’s side when hitting bumps, and a slight squeak from the wear indicators on the discs – nothing major, just something I’ve noticed over time.
Inside’s been good – kids’ car seat fits snug, interior’s nearly mint. I’ve got sat nav, Bluetooth, climate control, cruise, electric windows and mirrors, roof rails, alloys, daytime running lights. The boot’s big, so it’s great for kids or shopping trips.
MOT’s due November 2025 – no lights on dash, clean undercarriage, no rust.
I’ve been using this car for years – it’s reliable, quiet, and just plain fun to drive, especially on the motorway. I’m moving on to something with an automatic, so I’m not holding out for a long time.
I’m based in Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire, so if you’re local and want to check it out, I’m around most evenings and weekends. If you’re seeing this, it’s still up for grabs.
P.S. I’ve priced it at £3,015 – not a lot, but it’s been a good car for me.
