Got this old gold-gilt baroque mirror from my grandparents’ house in castle-cary, Somerset. It’s a solid, heavy piece with carved details – the kind you’d see in an old study or hallway. The frame is beautifully detailed, and it’s still in great condition despite its age. I’ve used it in my home for years, and it’s just been sitting in a corner, collecting dust. It’s a bit of a statement piece, not super practical, but adds a lot of character. I’m keeping it because I love the look of it, and it’s not too heavy to move around.
