This is a real watercolour from the 1980s by Joyce Lawrence, a local artist from Dorset. It’s a quiet, detailed scene of Church Street and the Priory in Christchurch. I found it in a box of old art at my parents’ place in Dunscroft, Hatfield, and it just felt like a nice thing to share. It's framed and glazed, so it's ready to hang — I’ve kept it in a safe spot for years, and it’s been well cared for. It’s in very good condition, just a bit faded in places, which I think adds to its charm. I’m not sure how much it’s worth, but I figured it might be a nice find for someone who likes old local art.
