Got this Ikea Ektorp sofa bed and it’s been a lifesaver for guests — especially when I’ve got a sudden visitor or just need a bit of extra space. It’s a solid metal base with wooden slats and a foam mattress, and the cover’s removable so you can wash it easily. The cushions and frame are all washable, which is a real plus.

It’s about 135 x 190 cm in size, with the total width stretching to around 200 cm — not too wide, not too narrow. Height’s about 88cm, depth 90cm. The right arm rest is a bit loose and just needs a bit of tightening when you move it, so it’s not a dealbreaker, just something to check when you set it up.

I’ve been using it in Weymouth, Dorset, so it’s only available for collection there. I’m happy to take it to a local friend or just meet up for a quick drop-off if you’re in the area. Price is £40.50 if you’re interested — just saying, no need to jump in if it doesn’t fit your space.
