Description

I’m selling my Boma 7 from 2013 — it’s a lightweight electric wheelchair built for off-road use. I’ve used it mostly on farm tracks and it handles rough ground surprisingly well. It’s not your average wheelchair — the way it moves and feels is totally different, and it’s easy to get on and off thanks to the sliding transfer system.

The twist handlebar makes it simple to steer, whether you’re navigating a muddy field or a steep slope. On a good day, it’ll go about 12–16 miles on a full charge, though that drops if the ground’s wet or cold. The battery indicator fades steadily, so you know when it’s time to recharge.

Speed’s slow — 0–4mph on low, 0–8mph on high — but it’s more than enough for most off-road tasks. It’s got a solid frame, front and rear suspension that both adjust independently, quick-release axles, rear-wheel drive, and tough 24x3” and 20x2” off-road tyres. Batteries are 24V, charged via a 240V charger — all UK-made.

I’ve kept it well maintained, though it’ll need a proper service before use. It comes with the back storage section, mudguards, seat harness, and two accessories: the scooter cover and cape — both in very good condition.

It’s been a reliable workhorse for years, and I’ve kept it mostly in good shape. The price is £5,400 — includes all accessories. I’m not expecting much fuss, just serious buyers who know what they’re getting. If you’re interested, I’ll share photos and details.

It’s based in alva, Clackmannanshire.
