So, I’ve had this 2012 Vauxhall Astra Elite for a few years now — it’s a solid 1.6L petrol with 16v, manual gearbox, and all the usual bits. It’s not flashy, but it’s been well looked after. Only 115ps, low insurance group, and I’ve kept it pretty simple — not a lot of fancy extras, just good, reliable bits.

It’s got electric windows, heated seats, all leather interior, heated front and rear screens, adjustable headrests for every seat, CD player with AUX for phone, remote locking, and a multifunction steering wheel. The steering’s soft power — really easy to drive, especially if you’re new to cars or have kids.

Mileage’s decent for its age, and it’s got a valid MOT, good service history, two keys, and has been owned by three people before me. The engine, clutch, and gears all work fine — no drama.
