Got this 2012 Ford Ka Edge in metallic blue and I’ve been using it for years – still feels like it’s in great shape both inside and out. The 1.2L petrol engine is a real gem, gets around 64mpg, so you can go on longer trips without worrying about filling up too often. CO2’s at 115g/km, so it’s not just cheap to run, it’s also fairly kind on the planet. Insurance’s low too – perfect if you’re new to driving or just want something affordable and easy to insure.

It’s got all the basics: aircon, electric windows, remote central locking, aux input, CD player, cloth seats, cupholders, driver and passenger airbags, power steering, and even a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The steering wheel’s adjustable too, which I’ve found really handy.
