Got this set a few years ago when I started fishing with my son. The Zenith match 1821 rod is 3.6m long, the Shimano SH250 reel sees minimal use – mostly just setting up and a few weekend trips. All the bits are in good shape, the seat box is still sturdy and clean. I’ve kept it stored properly, so it’s ready to go if someone wants to get into fishing. It’s not fancy, just a solid starter kit for a kid or someone getting into the sport. Based in Gairloch, Highland. Price is £36.
