2006 Honda Civic Type R Premier Edition

Description

So, I’ve had this 2006 Honda Civic Type R Premier Edition for a while now — it’s a solid track car, not a showroom piece. I’m not the type to spend hours on it, so I’m just passing it on.

It’s got the Recaro bucket seats, red carpets, and that classic mono steering wheel. Paintwork isn’t perfect — a few tiny dings, nothing major. The car starts and runs fine, no dashboard lights, long MOT, and it’s been properly undersealed. Chassis is clean, though it could do with a bit of welding and a good clean-up.

I’ve got a 3-inch cat-back exhaust (rare), Tegiwa 421 manifold and intake with scoop, polybushed exhaust mounts, Mishimotor rad, and Yellowspeed coilovers — all done. The car’s been driven about 5,000 miles, and I’ve had a proper fast road setup around 4,000 miles ago.

Mods are solid: inverted track rod ends, Meyle HD drop links all around, Superpro castor front wishbones, powder-coated Tegiwa extended ball joints, full braided lines from ABS, refurbed front calipers, PBS front pads and Pagid discs all around. Rear has hardrace wishbone bushings and control arms. Lightweight race battery, Tegiwa steering arms, rack raiser, and slider. All windows are tinted.

I’ve got a full set of silicone rad and intake hoses, Mugen engine mounts (done 4,000 miles), iridium plugs, fuel rail and gauge, Acuity centre feed. The factory racepack diff with bolts was done at 2,000 miles.

It’s not a show car — it’s been used, driven hard, and kept mostly in good shape. I just don’t have the time to keep it going. It runs, it drives, and it’s got a lot of solid mods that add up.
