Got this 2009 Ford Ka Studio hatchback from the family garage in Cairndow, Argyll and Bute. It’s a petrol manual with a clean, practical feel – not flashy, but solid and well-used over the years. The seats are both driver and passenger side, manually adjustable, which is handy if you’re doing long drives or just want to tweak the position.

It’s got ABS, black door mirrors, cloth upholstery, and front and rear head restraints. The rear bench seat is still usable, and there’s an Isofix system for kids if you’re ever on the move. The steering column has a rake adjustment, which helps with comfort when driving for a while.

Front and rear wipers are speed-sensitive, so they work better at different speeds. Inside, it has a six-speaker system, auxiliary input, CD/MP3 player, and remote controls on the steering wheel – not fancy, but works well.

Exterior is clean with 14-inch steel wheels and body colour bumpers. Courtesy headlamp delay is a nice touch. Safety-wise, it has driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes, immobiliser, and seat pretensioners. The CD player and stereo are still in good shape.

I’ve kept it mostly maintained over the years – nothing major, just regular use and care. It’s not the flashiest car, but it’s reliable and has a good character.
