Vauxhall Astra Bertone Coupe 1.8

Description

So, I’ve had this 2001 Vauxhall Astra Bertone 1.8 for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for a while and I’ve kept it pretty well maintained. It’s got a full MOT until mid-January 2026, which is a solid lead, and it runs and drives fine — nothing funky, just smooth and reliable.

I’ve got a cat-back exhaust from John Ashley, so it’s got a bit of character without being noisy (can send videos if you’re curious). The tyres were replaced in January 2025, and I did a full spark plug and fuel filter overhaul in May 2025. Oil filter and sump plug are both ready to go — just need to pop them in when you get it.

The key’s been a bit of a hassle — the barrel broke a few weeks ago, so I’m using a spare key now. The wheels are a bit scuffed up, and there’s a bit of lacquer peel and some small dents — nothing major, just a bit of wear. The backbox bolts weren’t properly attached before, which makes it rattle a bit and blow a little air — easy fix, new bolts are included with the sale.

It’s not perfect by any means — it’s got some little quirks, and I’m honest about that. It’s not a show car, it’s just a solid, practical car that works well and sounds cool when you’re driving it. I’m in Whetstone, Cosby if you need to see it.
