So I’ve had this 2014 Volkswagen Polo Match Edition for a few years now — it’s been properly looked after, full service history, so I know it’s been maintained properly. It’s a manual, petrol, 3-door hatchback with a 1.2 litre engine and Euro 5 compliance — not flashy, but a solid little car with loads of practical features.

The seats are a mix of leather and cloth, sporty pattern, and it’s got those 17-inch alloys — not flashy, but a nice touch. I remember it had the voice control, central screen that opens and closes, and that little roof spoiler. The interior is clean and well organised — there’s storage in the doors, cup holders, a 12V socket, and even a glovebox with a cover.

It’s got all the safety stuff you’d expect: airbags front and side, ESP, ABS, electronic stability, and even side head restraints. The seats have height adjustment and easy entry, and the windows are electric. There’s also a Bluetooth kit, DAB+ radio, parking sensors, and a load lip shield.

I’ve kept it mostly in one place — in Cleckheaton, Kirklees — and it’s been parked well, so it hasn’t seen much wear. The mileage is what it is, and it’s subject to change as it rotates between showrooms.
