And So To Bed THYME Brass 5ft King Bed Frame with Relyon Divan Bases
Description
I’ve been looking after this THYME brass bed for a while now, and it’s one of those pieces that just feels special even after years of use. It’s a solid 5ft king bed frame, made with a mix of brass and steel — the brass parts are beautifully detailed with gentle hump-top rails, ovel castings, and those big cannonball knobs, all in an antique gold finish. The steel rails are sturdy and support the structure well, and the dark green colour really holds up.I went through it carefully — checked every nut and bolt, cleaned it up, and hand-polished the brass where it had tarnished. There are a few dents and scratches, especially around the edges and corners, and some minor marks from use, but nothing that affects how it works. The base is solid too, and comes with two Relyon divan bases — those are the same ones they use in top-end hotels, and they’re 100% viscose, which means they’re soft and durable.
Dimensions:
L: 215cm | W: 155cm | Headboard height: 137cm | Foot end height: 103cm | 19cm clear space underneath | 35cm from floor to top of base
It fits a standard 5ft king mattress and’s been fully disassembled, wrapped, and ready to go.
I’ve been selling quality second-hand furniture since 2018 — mostly luxury pieces from brands like And So To Bed, which I’ve learned to spot the difference between new and used, and what makes a piece truly stand out. A lot of my buyers are people who care about design and value, and they often end up loving the stories behind the furniture.
I’ve also worked with a few film studios and Airbnb hosts — it’s been fun to help bring authentic, timeless pieces into real homes and sets.
This bed’s been in my house for years, and it’s still looking great. It’s not perfect — it’s used, and has a few little signs of wear — but it’s fully functional, and the brass still shines where it should.
It’s in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, so collection’s easy from there. I can arrange a courier if you’d prefer.
If you’ve ever seen a brass bed that feels like it’s been made for a home, not just a showroom — this one’s for you.
P.S. I’ve included a few photos and a quick video — just a glance at the details, and how it looks in the room. If you’ve got questions, I’m happy to answer them.
Price is £675 — I’ll be honest, it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it for the quality and style.
