Honda CBR 649 2017
Description
So, I’m finally putting this bike up for sale after nearly five years of riding it — it’s been my go-to for everything from weekend rides to long-distance tours. Honestly, I’ve had to step back because of the kids and arthritis making it hard to keep up with the riding. It’s a 2018 pre-registration model, so it’s got all the newer-gen upgrades. I’ve kept it well-maintained: valve clearances checked every 15,000 miles, oil, filter, air filter, brake fluid, and brake pads all replaced on schedule. Chain and sprockets get a full check every year — I’ve got receipts for everything, and all work was done by a HRC technician.
It’s got a few extras: Kappa panniers, Kappa top box (the frames are still there, just a bit worn — can be replaced or repainted, but it works fine). Leo Vince full exhaust, racing engine covers, R&G crash protection, USB charger, phone mount, LED front and rear lights, tail tidy, adjustable clutch and brake levers, knee pads, and a carbon-effect finish on the yoke, tank, and petrol cap.
Pirelli tyres are brand new — I’ve kept them fresh. I’ve attached photos of the fairing damage — it’s been repaired and sanded, ready for a fresh respray or decals. Comes with the full fairing bolt kit.
I haven’t cleaned it on purpose — it’s a bit messy, and I’m not hiding anything. It needs a bit of cosmetic work, but the engine’s been spotless, and it’s had a clean MOT since January 2021 with zero advisories. All previous issues were fixed before I took it over.
It’s a solid, reliable bike — loads of power, comfortable for long rides, great storage for camping or motogp-style trips, and perfect for someone getting their A2 or moving up to full licence. I’m not looking for a high price — just offers or sold as seen.
It’s in dollar, Clackmannanshire.
