Description

I’ve had this Casio Celviano AP-250 for about 10 years — bought it new back when I was first getting into playing. Since then, I’ve mostly kept it in the cupboard, not used it much over the last five years because life’s been a bit busy. It’s been sitting in a spot where it’s never seen much wear, so the finish is still great — clean, no scratches, just looks like it’s been cared for.

It’s got 18 built-in tones, including five grand piano ones, plus harpsichord, strings, pipe organ, and jazz organ — useful if you’re into different styles. There’s a master volume knob to control the sound, and a metronome that’s perfect for practice or learning. Also comes with 60 tunes in a music library that you can play back one after another — really handy if you’re starting out or want to work on pieces without needing sheet music.

I’ve kept all the manuals and sheet music with it, and it comes with a matching stool. The piano’s about 1380mm wide, 430mm deep, and 840mm high — the music stand adds another 150mm to the height. It’s also designed to be split into two pieces, so it’s not too heavy to move around.

I’m moving to Alford, East Lindsey now, so it’ll need to be collected from there. It’s not a flashy instrument, but it’s solid — works well, has all the basics, and hasn’t been touched much in years. If you’re into learning or just want a piano to keep around, it might be a good fit. Price is £180 — just letting you know in case you’re thinking about it.
