So, I’ve just had this 2020 Buccaneer Commodore 8FT rear island bed caravan in, and honestly, it’s one of the most well-specced ones I’ve seen. It’s got that full end bedroom layout – not many of these around, and they’re not exactly common in the market.

It’s been kept in a smoke and pet-free home, so it’s in great condition inside and out. I’ve been using it for my own trips, and it’s been super comfortable. The setup is top-tier – you don’t see this level of finish in most caravans, especially for a model this age.

The standard features are solid: self-levelling system, quad motor mover, roof-mounted air con, ambient lighting, Alde central heating (which runs the water system), a separate shower with swivel toilet and hand basin, a full kitchen with oven, hob, grill, and hot plate, a microwave, a decent fridge with freezer space, and those big sunroofs on both front and back.

It’s got fly screens and blinds all around, including the door. The floor is hard with loose-fit carpets that are easy to clean. There’s a front chest of drawers with a fold-out table, mains electric with a charging system, and a multi-directional TV aerial. Alloy wheels, external wet locker with mains point, and an external BBQ point – all standard.

I’ve priced it at £23,391, which is actually quite a bit under what new 2025 models would be (they’re well over £46k), so it’s a real steal for what it offers. This layout is not going to be available long, and if you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped fixed island bed caravan with all this, you won’t find anything quite like it.
