2002 Honda Civic VTEC S 1.6 110bhp
Description
So I’m selling this 2002 Honda Civic VTEC S – the one with the 1.6 engine and 110bhp – it’s actually been a real joy to drive over the past six months. Fresh MOT just passed, and it’s been ticking over with no real issues. Original miles at 82,000, and the book has a nice history with Honda dealer stamps from the early days.I’ve only owned it for about six months, and it’s been a proper workhorse – not flashy, but genuinely solid. The paint is midnight blue, which was a factory option back then, and it still looks great even if the bodywork isn’t perfect – there are a few dents and scratches, especially on the panels, but the paint hasn’t faded much. The interior has a bit of wear too, some marks on the cabin, but nothing major.
I’ve spent over £500 fixing it up – suspension, corrosion, brakes. There were two suspension advisories on the MOT, but I’ve sorted those now, and I’ve got the invoice to prove it. Also had a full filter service, cabin, air and oil changes with Castrol Edge – receipts are tucked away.
It’s got a Pioneer head unit and 6x9 speakers – never got around to installing them, but I’ve got a little Bluetooth radio adapter I can plug in for now. So if you’re thinking of keeping it as a daily driver or just a bit of fun on the road, it’s a great little car.
It’s clean air zone compliant, only had three owners before me, two of whom I actually know. Runs and drives like it should – engaging, smooth, not too much to manage. Fuel and tax are cheap, so it’s easy to keep going.
I’ve been living in Dereham, Breckland District, so it’s right there. I’m flexible with viewings – WFH, so just let me know when. It’s got half a tank of petrol already, so it’s ready to go.
Honestly, I’m not super happy about letting it go – it’s been a real comfort car, especially with the city centre and all that. But I’ve just got to move into a bigger car. If you’re into reliable, fun little cars with solid engines, this might be the one.
