2013 Jaguar XF 2.2d Premium Diesel Saloon
Description
So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — not because I need it, but because it just feels like the right kind of car to have. It’s a 2013 Jaguar XF 2.2d Premium, four-door saloon with diesel, automatic transmission, and that stop/start system that’s basically just… useful. I didn’t sell it when I moved to Rochester, Kent, because I didn’t want to give up the comfort of the ride. It’s got a solid 7-inch touchscreen with Meridian audio — 380W, so it’s not just a basic radio — and DAB support. The stereo’s got Bluetooth, auxiliary input, and even a little satellite navigation. I still use it for long drives, and the climate control is good, especially when it’s cold or humid.
The interior is fairly well kept — I’ve had the seats adjusted a few times, and the memory settings for driver and passenger seats still work. The front seats have whiplash protection, and there’s a rear centre armrest and fold-down rear seats (60/40). I’ve also got heated front seats and a heated rear window — useful in the winter, which is something I’ve really appreciated.
Safety features are all there: ABS, EBD, EBA, emergency brake assist, airbags all around (including side curtains), and even pedestrian contact sensing. The headlights are xenon with LED signature lights and automatic level adjustment — I don’t have to fiddle with them much anymore.
I’ve kept the alloy wheels (Vela design) and the chrome trim, which I like — not flashy, but still classy. The car has a smart key system, remote locking, boot release, and even a rear parking aid with a visual screen. There’s a power fold and heated side mirror, and the front seats have lumbar support.
I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s been mostly low-mileage use — mostly weekend trips around Kent and some short journeys to the coast. I’m not selling it because I don’t need it anymore, just because I’ve found a different way to live with a car.
I’m not expecting a lot of interest, but if you’re someone who likes a bit of luxury in a diesel saloon with real tech and solid safety, I’d be happy to talk. It’s been sitting in Rochester, Kent, and I’m not rushing to sell.
(Price is £5,850 — I know it’s not cheap, but I’ve been holding onto it for a while and thought it might find a good home.)
