So, I’ve just got this ELDDIS AVANTE 556 6 berth van in at my place in Otley, West Yorkshire. It’s been sitting in a dry van, so it’s clean and dry, no damp issues — really nice to look at.

Inside, there are two fixed bunk beds at the back, a dinette that converts to bunk beds, and two singles that can be joined into a big double — very practical for family trips or long stays. The layout’s solid and it’s one of the more popular models, which makes sense.

It comes with a proper awning, though I haven’t used it much yet — haven’t taken it out to check it properly, but it looks solid and in good shape. Everything else is there: cooker, hob, 3-way fridge/freezer, toilet, shower, and truma heating. All in good order.

I’m just getting it ready to go, so it’s not fully set up yet. I’ve had finance arranged and there’s a 3-month warranty on it, so it’s fairly low-risk if you’re thinking about using it.

Price is £4,455 — I’m not going to go much over that. If you’re interested, I’d appreciate it if you get in touch early. I’m not selling it to anyone who’s not actually going to use it — just want to find someone who’ll actually enjoy it on the road.
