Description

I’ve had this 2021 BMW i3 S for a couple of years now, and it’s been one of the most reliable and quiet drives I’ve ever had. Only one previous owner, so it’s been treated like a proper car — no scratches, no wear and tear. The design’s still sharp, and the way it handles on the road is surprisingly sporty for an electric.

It’s got a 42kWh battery, which originally gave it a range of 175 miles — not bad at all. I charge it at home with a 7kW charger, which takes about 5 hours and 15 minutes to go from empty to full. Public charging gets you to 80% in 40 minutes, which is handy if you're on a trip.

It’s quick too — 0 to 62 in 6.9 seconds, which for an EV is actually quite impressive. The car has a lot of smart bits: rain sensor that turns headlights on automatically, rear parking assist, Apple CarPlay, heated front seats, and a BMW Professional Radio with Bluetooth. The cabin is snug, and the seat adjustments are a real plus.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and the ESP and safety belt pretensioners are still working fine. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — a quiet, smooth ride with a bit of character.

It’s currently parked in Talybont-Ceredigion, New Street, and I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping it around much longer. It’s a bit of a long-term project, so if you’re looking for something low-maintenance, quiet, and genuinely modern — this might be your kind of car.

Price is £10,528.20 — I’ll keep it under the table, but if you’re interested, just give me a shout.
