This 2019 C-Class has been through proper dealer service with four stamps — I’ve actually driven it a few times and it’s been solid. The paint is obsidian metallic, and it looks sharp with black high-gloss trim and aluminium door accents. Inside, it’s got leather and suede upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and full electric windows — even the mirrors fold automatically. The sat nav is intuitive, and there’s Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can just connect your phone and go. I use the DAB radio a lot — great for music and podcasts.

It’s got all the modern bits: rear assist camera, parking sensors, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and even a smart engine start/stop feature that saves fuel.
