So my kid’s been obsessed with supercars since she was three, and after a lot of scrolling through toy shops, I found this Audi R8 Spyder SuperSport ride-on. It’s not just some random-looking car — it’s officially licensed by Audi, so the badges, design, and details are spot-on. My daughter actually started calling it “the real thing” when she saw it, which is kinda funny.

It runs on a 12V dual battery system, which gives it a solid 60 minutes of runtime — enough to take her around the garden, the driveway, or even the local park. The motors are strong enough to give a little oomph, but not too fast — top speed is around 5km/h, which is safe and perfect for a kid.

It has a real key start, working headlights and taillights, opening doors, and a full console with USB, AUX input, and built-in music. The console even shows the battery voltage, which is a small win for me (I can see when it’s running low). The tyres have those GrippMoz strips — plastic with little grooves — which really helps grip on grass, carpet, or concrete.

I bought it a while ago and it’s been a hit with my daughter. She drives it like it’s a real car, even pretends to do a “super car launch” every time. I’ve been using it mostly in the backyard and the local park — it’s fun to watch her go from “I’m going to drive the R8!” to “I need to turn left now!”
