Squier by Fender Affinity PJ Precision Jazz Bass
Description
I’ve had this Squier by Fender Affinity PJ Bass for a few years now and it’s become my go-to for everything from rock to jazz to some solid blues. It’s the classic P-bass shape, just like the original Fender, but with a white body and black scratchplate – super clean look.I just had it properly looked after: new strings, full fret polish, nut treated with graphite, and the rosewood fingerboard got a light lemon oil to keep it smooth. The electrics were checked, cleaned, and tuned up – all good and responsive.
It’s a PJ, so it has both Precision and Jazz pickups with separate volume controls for each, plus an independent tone knob – means you can really shape the sound to match whatever song you’re playing. Super versatile.
The hardware is all chrome, and the action is low enough that it feels effortless to play – I can actually get a good tone without having to fight the strings.
It’s not super flashy, but it’s got a real, solid tone and has stood up to a lot of playing. I’ve used it in different bands and styles, and it just works.
Photos are all up – no fakery, just real life.
Price is £148.50 – I’m happy to trade in something similar if you’re interested.
Collection in Banbridge, Armagh City (or I can make it work with a small delivery fee if needed). No fancy promises – just a real guitar I’ve actually played, and I’m passing it on because I’m moving on to something else.
