Description

I’ve had this chair for years – it’s one of those pieces that just feels special. It’s a limited edition from 2004, part of the Habitat 40th anniversary collection, designed by Philip Treacy. The orange wool is quite striking, though it’s been sitting in the sun a bit over time, so there’s a little fading and some light marks on the seat. I’ve kept it well cared for, and it’s still solid and comfortable. It’s a bit tall and long – 113cm tall, 123cm long – but it fits perfectly in a corner, doesn’t dominate the space, and actually makes the room feel more lived-in. It’s not just a chair; it’s something people notice when they walk in. I’ve kept it in my living room, and it’s been a real comfort spot over the years. I’m selling it now because I’m moving house, and it’s a bit of a weight to carry. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely one of those pieces that’s worth having if you love design and a bit of character. Price is £180, but I’ll be honest – it’s more about getting rid of it than anything else. Just thought I’d share it.
