Description

So, I’ve been keeping this motorhome for a few years now — it’s a 2013 Burstner Ixeo IT 740, built on a Fiat Ducato, and I’ve finally decided to part with it. It’s a solid, low-slung tourer with a 2.3L diesel and a six-speed manual — not flashy, but easy to drive, especially on the road. I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s got a full service history up to April 2025, which I can show you if you’re interested.

There’s a bit of light wear — a small crack in the rear bumper, a couple of marks around the driver’s door, and the awning’s not working anymore. The front seats show a bit of use too, but nothing that affects how it runs. The awning is the only real issue, and I’ll send photos if you want to see it properly.

Inside, it’s bright and open — great for families or couples on the move. There are two fixed single beds in the back with high-level lockers and storage under the beds. Up front, there’s a manual drop-down double bed above the lounge, and the dinette can convert to a single bed if needed. The table’s adjustable, so you can have a bit of space for meals or just relaxing.

The kitchen has a gas hob, oven, fridge, and sink. The washroom has a cassette toilet, vanity, and a separate shower with a folding door. There’s also a rooflight and ambient lighting to make it feel warm and welcoming.

It comes with solar panel, Truma heating and boiler, a bike rack, reversing camera, two sets of keys, swivel captain seats, TV, media panel, and overhead storage. Air conditioning, cruise control, alarm — all standard. I’ve got the V5 document too, and the grill is working fine.

I live in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, so viewings can be arranged by appointment — no pressure, just a quick chat to see if it fits your lifestyle. I’ve been driving it for years, and it’s been reliable. It’s not perfect — it’s not a showroom model — but it’s been well maintained and has a real, lived-in feel.

I’m happy to chat about finance, part exchange, or even a warranty if you’re thinking of going that route. There’s also a 31-day free drive-away insurance offer — I’ll need to set that up with Caravan Guard after you’ve agreed, but it’s something that helps you get started without stress.

It’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, practical motorhome with real space and comfort. If you’re after something that’s dependable and not too flashy — this one’s for you. Just don’t expect it to be brand-new. It’s a real, working vehicle that’s seen a lot of miles (36k) and a fair bit of life.

Let me know if you’d like to see it — I’m happy to show it or talk through it.
