Description

So, I’ve got this old Honda CBR600FY from 2000 — W plate registered back in March, just over 24,000 miles on the clock. It’s one of those bikes I’ve always thought was a bit of a gem — not flashy, not overpowered, just solid and reliable. The alloy frame and carburetted setup mean it still cuts it in the real world, even today.

It’s a bit of a classic now, but still rides well — not a showpiece, not a race machine, but a real honest-to-goodness road bike that just gets the job done. The keys are original — two HISS security keys, so you know it’s been properly looked after.

I’ve kept it in pretty good shape over the years, mostly just getting it checked up when needed. That said, like most bikes from that era, it’s not perfect — there’ll be a few signs of age: some corrosion here and there, maybe a crack or two, and things you wouldn’t expect on a new machine. That’s normal for a 20-year-old bike, honestly.

I’m based in Cheshire, England, so if you’re local, it’s not too far. I don’t mind showing it around — I can do a walk-around video on my Facebook page, Torbay Motorcycles & More. You can check that out there.

If you’re interested, just give me a call — either Mark or Marcus on 01626 352527. We’ll need your full postcode to give you a quote for delivery.

We’ve been around since 1936, and we’ve sold a lot of classic bikes — mostly Hondas — so we know what to look for. If you’re thinking about buying something like this, don’t expect it to be spotless or brand-new. It’s not. But it’s still solid, still rides, and it’s one of the few CBR600Fys still in decent condition.

We’ve got about 50 bikes in stock, so there’s always something else to look at if you’re into classic bikes.

Just don’t come to see it unless you’ve booked — I don’t want anyone driving all the way just to find out it’s not for them.

Call me like a real person — no sales talk, no pressure — just a chat. That’s how we’ve always worked.

Thanks,
Mark & Marcus
