So, I’ve been keeping this Volvo XC60 for a few years now — it’s actually one of the few cars I’ve ever felt really comfortable driving every day. It’s a 2015 model, diesel, 2.0L D4, SE Lux trim, and it’s been properly looked after with full service history — I even had the cambelt done by Volvo themselves. Only two owners before me, which I’m happy about.

The winter pack is handy — heated front seats, active bending lights, and those xenon headlights really help when it’s dark or snowy. I’ve got rear park assist and a decent amount of visibility thanks to the city safety and adaptive brake lights. The steering feels solid, and it doesn’t take long to get from 0 to 60 — about 8 seconds, which is decent for a diesel.

I’ve used it for long trips and short commutes, and it’s been a real workhorse. The fuel economy’s actually better than most — around 63 mpg — so I don’t have to go to the station as often. The boot’s big enough for a family or a couple of big bags, and it’s got a 12V socket at the front and back, which is useful for charging stuff.

Inside, it’s clean and well-maintained — leather gear knob, plenty of storage, power driver seat with memory, and even a front armrest with storage. The seats are adjustable and have lumbar support. I’ve also got a home safe and approach lighting, which I use when I’m parking in the evenings.
