Black Lift-Top Coffee Table with Hidden Storage

Got this coffee table a few years ago and it’s been a real go-to in my living room. It’s black, solid wood, and the lift-top bit is actually super handy – you can just pop it up and suddenly you’ve got a nice flat surface for working or eating. I’ve used it for everything from reading on the sofa to setting up a quick work session without needing a separate desk.

The underside has a big hidden drawer – perfect for storing remotes, blankets, books, or just whatever’s cluttering up the top of the table. And there’s a lower shelf too, so you can keep things like snacks or mugs within reach.

It’s not super tall when lowered – 49.5cm – but when you lift it, it goes up to 62.5cm, which gives it a good chunk of space without taking over the room. I’ve had it in my Bonnybridge, Falkirk home for a while now and it’s just become part of the setup.

It’s sitting in a room that’s not too busy, so it’s not the most flashy piece, but it actually does a lot of things well. I’m letting it go because I’ve moved into a new place and just don’t need it anymore. It’s been a real workhorse, and I’m happy to part with it – price is £40.50 if you're interested.
