These Berghaus Hillwalker II GTX boots are the ones I’ve been wearing on hikes around St-Ives, Cornwall – from quiet coastal trails to rocky hillside paths. I bought them new for £120, and they’ve held up really well through all sorts of weather. I’ve got them in UK 8.5, and they fit pretty snugly – the oiled suede shell feels sturdy, and the Gore-Tex lining keeps you dry without making things feel stuffy. The memory foam at the heel and tongue gives a nice, soft feel, and the OrthoLite footbeds are comfy after a long walk. The outsole has that patented Opti-Stud grip, which helps on uneven ground. I’ve used them on everything from flat walks to steep climbs, and they’ve never let me down. Just a few miles of wear and tear, and they’re still in great shape. I’m not selling them for a lot, just passing them on – they’re actually one of my go-to boots for the hills.Seller Information
