The battery’s now 75kWh, and it’s a dual-motor setup, which means good acceleration and smooth handling. The heat pump really helps with cabin warmth without draining the battery too much — super useful when it’s cold.

I’ve driven it in all sorts of conditions, and under ideal conditions, it’s comfortably hit 330 miles on a single charge. Real-world range? I’d say 250 to 300 miles is a safe bet — which means for me, it’s about 2p per mile when charging at a cheap rate. I’ve got a tariff that lets me charge it fully for just £5.25, so over time, it’s actually cheaper than most petrol cars.

It’s in Pearl White, which really pops in the light — especially when you’re driving it in the hills around Llandudno. The interior is vegan leather throughout, which feels premium without being flashy. Front seats are heated, and the whole cabin feels quiet and spacious. The 2022 model also has the upgraded AMD Ryzen CPU instead of the older Intel chip — so the software runs smoother, and the infotainment system feels more responsive.

The touchscreen is the heart of the car — everything from navigation to climate to settings is handled through it, and it’s surprisingly easy to learn. The Tesla app works seamlessly too — just type in a destination, and it calculates the route, distance, and even tells you when you’ll need to recharge. It knows about traffic, elevation, and even gives you a heads-up about potential charging stops.

It’s been well maintained, no major issues, and I’ve only done a few short trips to the coast. I’m not selling it just for the money — I’ve actually been using it to test out EVs in real life, and it’s been a game-changer for how I think about driving.
