Got this 2020 Golf GTI Performance and I’m finally getting rid of it — it’s been a solid driver for years. It’s a 2.0 TSI petrol with the DSG automatic, and the 0-60’s are actually quite quick — about 6 seconds, which is not bad for a hatchback. The engine feels punchy, especially when you’re on the move, and the steering’s tight and responsive.

It’s Euro 6 compliant, so no emissions issues, and it came with a 12-month MOT when I bought it — still valid, so it’s in great shape. Inside, the cabin’s comfy with heated front seats, and the media system has Bluetooth, so I can play music or take calls without fiddling. LED headlights with dynamic curve lighting help when driving at night or on curves, and keyless entry makes getting in and out easy.

I’ve used it for everything — weekend trips, city driving, even a few long hauls. The boot’s decent too, not too small, so it’s practical for groceries or a bit of luggage.

It’s now at my garage in Worksop, Bassetlaw — just a quick drive from the town centre. I’ve had it for a few years and it’s been well looked after.
